Memorise Romans 8:9
"He that believeth ... hath the witness in him."?
MUST I FEEL SAVED?
What is the feeling of being saved? Is it possible to feel saved and yet not be? Will I know if I am truly saved? These are frequently asked questions and to find the answer will require personal soul searching and God's Word. Romans 8:16 tell us; "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God"?. The Spirit works in all believers and imparts to them the assurance that they are indeed the children of God. Further to this, 2 Corinthians 1:22 says; "Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts."? The "earnest of the Spirit"? is a promise or a seal, and this is placed in our hearts; meaning the Christian will know and feel deeply about his salvation. Hence we learn that Christians do actually have an assurance or loosely put; a "feeling"? that they are saved. Taking this one more step we can ask; "is there something outward that show us if we are saved?"? 1 John 2:5 says; "But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him."? This passage tells us that believers will keep God's Word and this is an indication of salvation. Psalm 4:3 also says; "But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him."? God will also answer your prayers if you are saved.
That said, some truly saved Christians, may sometimes still doubt their salvation. This is often because of a life not fully committed to serving and living for God. "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?"? (2 Corinthians 13:5 ). Search your hearts, examine it and find out if you are truly Christ's. It may be that in your search, you will find that you are afterall a son of God. Praise God then. However, in your search, you may also find that you are not actually saved. You have lived in the delusion of salvation. If so, you cannot stop there, you must seek the end of the matter by quickly coming to accept the Lord as your Saviour. Recognize that you are sinful and you are doomed for judgment and the only way is that Christ saves you from your sins. Believe today!
THOUGHT: Do you know if you are saved?
PRAYER: Lord, please open my eyes to see the reality of my salvation.
The reason why i did my quiet time today. Because of Japan Earthquake. I know, you're going to give me the o_O look and ask,"What does the earthquake gotta do wif you doing ur devotion."
Last month, it was Christ Church in New Zealand that suffered from an earthquake.
This week was the Japan earthquake.
AND
another active volcano in Indonesia has erupted. Mount Karangetang. This eruption was triggered by Japan's earthquake.
Matthew 24: 6-8
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in *divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Can you see? All these were predicted. Nations against nation(north Korea and south Korea). Earthquakes(Si Chuan, Japan, Indonesia and New Zealand)
In other words, all these calamities will come and it is CURRENTLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW.
When all these happens, Jesus' coming is VERY VERY NEAR. Because it is written in the bible.
Matthew 24: 29-31
Immediately after the *tribulation of those days shall be the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heavens shall be shaken:
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Can you see? This will happen. He is coming soon.
SO START BELIEVING! Do you want to know what happens to those who don't?
Matthew 24:51
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
You know where this happens? The weeping and gnashing of teeth? IN HELL, my friends. IN HELL.
I shall end this post with a verse that I hope all of you will bear this in mind.
Romans Chap 8: 9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
